Sardu, master of the Theatre of the Macabre, and his assistant Ralphus run a show in which, under the guise of 'magic', they torture and murder people in front of their audience.

But what the punters see as a trick is actually real.

This is not horror, this is just simulated snuff.

The problem here is with the execution, rather than with the content. It's almost unbelievable That a film including such things as A human dartboard, a brain sucking doctor, a brainwashed ballerina and a morbid midget can be so darn BORING!

I view the film as a metaphor for low budget horror and exploitation filmmaking. If you push the limits of sex, nudity, violence and gore you're viewed as a hack and a sleaze.
