This book is the definitive guide to SNMP-based network and internetwork management for network administrators, managers, and designers.

Concise, focusing on practical issues, and completely up to date, it covers SNMPv1, SNMPv2, and the most recent SNMPv3.

Excellant.

I think SNMP(simple network managing protocol) is not simple. So, this book is not simple.

First off the book showed up quickly (Under 7 days, I forget exactly how many, but I was satisfied) Second, we develop and maintain an embedded SNMP implementation in our product. I understood snmpv1, was weak on v2 and knew nothing of v3.
