Not a complete instruction for development of applications. Very poor for a beginner.

I usually love the "For Dummies" books. Most offer an excellent primer for a technology so you can jump into deeper books by other publishers with no sweat.

THis book rambles on and on. It does contain solid material but the morsels of information are spread thin in a bland soup of narrative.
