Julia Navarro (Madrid, 1953) lleva más de treinta años dedicada al periodismo trabajando en los principales medios de comunicación de este país, tanto en prensa escrita como en radio y televisión.Después de publicar varios libros de actualidad política como Nosotros, la transición; Entre Felipe y Aznar; La izquierda que viene, y Señora presidenta, se atrevió con la novela y consiguió un éxito sin precedentes en España. Su primer título, La Hermandad de la Sábana Santa, se situó durante semanas en los primeros puestos de las listas de ventas tanto en España como en el extranjero. La Biblia de barro y La sangre de los inocentes, sus siguientes novelas, también ambientadas en la Edad Media, afianzaron su prestigio entre la crítica y el público, sumando más de tres millones de copias vendidas en todo el mundo, con traducciones en más de treinta países, entre ellos Italia, Alemania, Portugal, Rusia, Corea, Japón, Reino Unido o Estados Unidos. She is the daughter of Spanish journalist, Felipe Navarro "Yale." After writing books on current affairs and politics, she published her first novel 'The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud', which was on best-seller lists, both in Spain and abroad.Navarro has been a journalist since 1983. She has contributed to Spanish media outlets Cadena SER, Cadena Cope, Telecinco, Canal Sur, and OTR Agency/Europa Press. She began her professional career during Spain’s transition to democracy. She reported on the journalistic era that she lived through, writing ongoing analysis on the country’s social evolution toward a new constitution in 1978. Currently, she is a political analyst for OTR Agency/Europa Press and a frequent editorial writer on political issues for Escaño Cero1. In addition, from 2010-2011, she participated in political roundtable discussions on the television program [:esMadrid_opina|Madrid opina] on the Telemadrid network.Navarro’s novels have been translated into more than thirty languages.
